Melinda Brown – Creative Director
Artist Melinda Brown has travelled the globe infusing spaces with creative energy. First in Sydney and again in New York’s meat packing district, she rescued beautiful but uncared for spaces and transformed them into contemporary gems while maintaining their historical integrity. Her work is not limited to acts of architectural preservation and experimentation. Her sculpture, paintings and utilitarian pieces all extort the effortless beauty of natural materials. Her sculptures are exhibited in private and public collections in Australia. International patrons from Croatia and Japan have acquired her paintings. Her utilitarian pieces decorate the offices of creative agencies in New York City.

Laura Facey – Director
Laura Facey is a Jamaican artist who lives and works on her family farm in the rolling hills of St Ann.

Christopher Jones – Chef and Community Liaison
Christopher Jones, a lifelong resident of Tivoli Gardens, was introduced to ROKTOWA during a drawing class conducted by visiting UK artists Julia Wilmott and Laura Shimmin, in 2011. He says “ROKTOWA has changed my life and shown me a whole new world of possibilities!”

Theophilus “Blessed” Reid – Ceramic Atelier Co-ordinator
Blessed is a 4th generation potter from Rose Town who utilises traditional West African firing techniques and has worked with ROKTOWA since 2008.
